Erdogan invites Russian President Putin to Turkey, announces $100bn trade agreement
President Recep Tayyip Erdogan of Turkey on Wednesday invited President Vladimir Putin of Russia to Turkey to seal trade agreement.
The Turkish President formally inviting Russian President Putin to Turkey, announced plans for $100 billion to trade with Russia.
National Daily Newspaper gathered that “This invitation was made following a meeting at the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit.
“During the meeting, both leaders discussed plans to significantly increase trade between their countries, aiming to reach a trade volume of $100 billion.
“This development highlights the growing economic ties between Turkey and Russia, and the potential for further cooperation in various sectors.”
