Top Tunisian club Esperance have announced they have signed Kano Pillars striker Junior Lokosa on a two and a half year contract.
Esperance announce the signing of NPFL goal King for last season on their Twitter handle.
“It’s done! The striker Junior Lokosa has signed a two and a half-year contract with Esperance,” they announced.
Lokosa thus follows a long list of top Nigeria internationals who have featured for ‘The Blood and Gold’ – Julius Aghahowa, Michael Eneramo, Gabriel Okolosi and Garba Lawal.
The striker scored 19 goals before the league was called off after 24 rounds of matches last year.
He was capped by the Super Eagles in a friendly against DR Congo before the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
Junior Lokosa has previously tried out in Bulgaria, Norway and China.
