Explosion kills four, injures 12 at Onitsha Market
Explosion at the Chemical Market in Onitsha, Onitsha Local Government Area, Anambra State, killed four persons and injured 12 others. The wounded victims were said to have sustained varying degrees of injury, while goods and properties worth millions of naira were destroyed by the fire outbreak from the explosion at about 12.45pm on Tuesday.
Thick smoke from burning shops covered the environment, as people ran in different directions for safety.
