FG created agencies performing duplicated functions – Sani
A renowned human rights advocate, Senator Shehu Sani, has berated the federal government, saying that government created agencies performing duplicated functions.
He lamented that the agencies were created without consideration to the limited resources of the country.
He made the remarks as President Bola Tinubu ordered implementation of Orosonye’s Report, compiled 12 years ago.
Sani also stated that most of the agencies are not known, adding that one may run “across an agency you have never even heard of in your life.”
According to Sani,
@ShehuSani
“We created all sorts of Agencies, Commissions and departments without consideration to our limited resources.
“Many of these agencies are performing duplicating functions and renting apartments in Abuja.
“Sometimes you will be driving and will come across an agency you have never even heard of in your life.”
