France honours Fela’s first son, Femi Kuti, with national award
The French Government in Paris honoured the first son of late Fela Anikulapo Kuti, the legendary Afrobeat, saxophonist and songwriter, Femi Kuti, with national award of the Knight of the Order of Arts and Letters.
The honour was conferred on Femi Kuti at the Fela Anikulapo- Kuti Rebellion Afrobeat Exhibition on Wednesday, to acknowledge his contributions to the Arts Literature and the enrichment of cultural heritage.
Femi Kuti had expressed his appreciation to the France for the prestigious national honour of the country.
