Gov Ganduje presents N196.3bn 2022 budget
Governor Umar Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano State on Thursday presented N196.3 billion Budget Proposal for the 2022 fiscal year to the State House of Assembly for legislation.
Ganduje titled the Budget proposal as “Budget for Consolidation and Prosperity”. The budget contains N107.8 billion Capital Expenditure; and N88.4 billion Recurrent Expenditure.
Education received the highest allocation of N51.6 billion, then, Infrastructure N33.8 billion; Health N15 billion; Agriculture N5.7 billion and Rural Development N5.3 billion, etc.
