Government unveils single-digit loans to support media industry
The Nigerian government is extending a helping hand to media organizations nationwide. In a bid to strengthen the media landscape, President Tinubu has authorized single-digit interest-rate financing for these entities, National Daily Newspaper gathered.
This initiative was announced by Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, during a Ministerial Sectoral Update.
He explained that President Tinubu’s desire is to see the media flourish, and this program is a key step towards achieving that goal.
The Minister’s spokesperson, Rabiu Ibrahim, elaborated on the program.
