Governor Oyebanji commends waste management staff for keeping Ekiti clean
Oyebanji , Governor of Ekiti Statehas commended the dedication of the staff of the Ekiti State Waste Management Agency.
This is as the governor described the street sweepers and waste collectors as heroes and heroines due to their daily efforts at keeping Ekiti clean.
Oyebanji made this known on Tuesday in Ado-Ekiti as visited the Ekiti State Waste Management Authority office and inspected Dino bins and and to check the conditions of the trucks and large waste collection equipment.
During the inspection, Governor Oyebanji also promised to revitalise the state’s waste management sector.

“I want to praise the dedication of the staff of the Ekiti State Waste Management Agency, especially the street sweepers and waste collectors.
“They are our heroes and heroines due to their daily efforts at keeping Ekiti clean.”
The governor also announced that more bins will be fabricated in future to increase the capacity of the Ekiti State Waste Management Agency to keep the state clean and also to promote environmentally responsible waste management practices.
