Gunmen kill four police officers in Imo
Gunmen in the early hours of Saturday invaded the divisional police headquarters in Agwa, Oguta Local Government Area, Imo State, killing four police officers.
The Police Public Relations Officer of the Imo State Command, Mike Abattam, noted that the invaders burnt down parts of the police station, killing some officers on duty.
The PPRO disclosed that the Commissioner of Police in the state, Mohammed Barde, had visited the scene to ascertain the severity of the attack and get first-hand information.
Abattam called for calm, promising that the State Police Command has put the situation under control.
