How ISWAP ambushed, kidnapped 7 soldiers, travelers in Borno
It has been revealed how the Islamic State of West African Province (ISWAP) terrorists ambushed and kidnapped seven security operatives and travelers in Borno State.
The ISWAP terrorists were said to have laid ambush, disguising as soldiers on the Damaturu-Maiduguri Road on November 2, 2021, where their victims ran into their captivity.
The ISWAP terrorists, well-armed, dressed in military uniform, in their ambush at Tamsukawu community in Kaga Local Government, Borno State, 7km from Ngamdu, a Super Camp of the Nigerian Military, had intercepted seven vehicles conveying 31 persons to Maiduguri, Borno State capital. The security operatives and the travelers were said to have been taken away from the scene by the terrorists to unknown destination.
However, the military authorities were said to have made no statement on the kidnap.
