Anambra 2021: Voting begins, Gov Obiano, Wife, lead early voting in Aguleri
Voting has commenced in the Saturday, November 6 governorship election in Anambra State. The State Governor, Willie Obiano, accompanied by his wife, Dr. Ebelechukwu Obiano, led early voting in Aguleri, where they were registered by the INEC.
Governor Obiano and his wife, Ebelechukwu, had arrived the Eri Primary School, Otuocha 1, polling unit 004 at 9.25am, went through the accreditation processes, then, cast their votes for their preferred candidate in the governorship election.
National Daily gathered that the Eri Primary School, Otuocha 1, polling unit 004 has 1,162 registered voters.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has shown improvement in the management of logistics, getting electoral officers and materials to the respective destinations within official time.
The Anambra governor and his wife had urged all eligible voters to come out and vote without fear, assuring them that everywhere is calm and peaceful.
Meanwhile, there is no report of violence in any part of the state.
