IGP reacts after police officer investigating Abba Kyari’s case slumped & died
National Daily reports that a Police Officer breathed his last while in active service. Hours after reports went viral on social media platforms, the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Alkali Baba Usman, reacted over the demise of the Deputy Inspector General of Police, Joseph Obiajulu Egbunike.
The IGP noted that the late officer was a dedicated and seasoned police officer who served the nation in various capacities. At a time, he was the Commissioner of Police in charge of Police Accounts and Budget.

The IGP also noted that the deceased Police Officers was instrumental to the giant achievements within the Police architecture. Again, he was committed to intellectual development in the Nigeria Police Force.
Lastly, the IGP sent his condolences to those the deceased law enforcement officer left behind. He hopes they’re granted the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss.
It is noteworthy to add at this point that the late Police officer was the one handling the case of the arrested super cop, Abba Kyari.
