Ikeja LGA chairmanship hopeful gives Jamb forms to students

Students in Ikeja local government have been urged to give maximum focus to academics, in order to attain the desired heights in life.

This counsel was handed down to the students who were beneficiaries of the free Jamb forms distributed by Hon. Abisola Omisore (a.k.a OMITUNTUN) whose slogan is “A New Era of Ikeja”, by the guest speaker Mr. Ayo Adeoti.

Adeoti maintained that education remains the only sure catalyst to greatness if given the required consentration.

“I urge you all to maximize every opportunities that your way in pursuit of academic excellence, as it remain the only sure catalyst to greatness. You can attain any desired heights if you accord it your focus.

“Look around today many of our leading corporate leaders of industry and even major sectors of the economy were once students who carved a niche for themselves right from their young age.

“You can be whatever you want to be with more focus on your education.” Adeoti said.

The Ikeja LGA Chairmanship Seat hopeful Hon. Abisola Omisore in the forthcoming 2025 council election, counselled the youths in attendance that life is not a bed of roses.

He urged the students to make efforts at attaining their dreamed heights in life, adding that it is possible through dint of hard work and determination with prayers.

“I implore you to fill your mind with positivity, and I can assure you that the sky will be your starting point.

“For instance this will be my fifth year of distributing free Jamb forms, in a row all because I made up my mind to impact my environment positively.

“I want to announce that in addition to this my annual kind gesture to our youngsters, there will also be huge prizes for the top three students that passed their exams in flying Colours.

“As I would support their first two years in school with Scholarship covering the tuition, in any School of their Choice once the Students gets Admissions in any higher institution in Nigeria.

Adding that the decision was in affirmation of his campaign slogan-A NEW ERA FOR IKEJA, which remains a Vista for new opportunities for everyone in Ikeja no matter your Race, Background or Ethnicity.

On his aspiration he pledged to ensure fairness to All, while urging the youths to be focused, discipline at all times, and put in their best, as sacrifice for a brighter tomorrow.

He added that tomorrow holds the key to greater future for all, only if they remain a focused and worthy citizens of Ikeja LGA.

The Education instructor Mr. Olufemi Adams who gave the students tips on how to do well in their examination was quick to corroborate the speaker.

He stressed that the time is apt now for all the students to set the bricks of greatness by avoiding all distractions that are on their ways and investing in knowledge which he declares prepares them for future gains.

Adams asserts that with well meaning individuals like Hon.Omisore many indigent but brilliants students have their hopes restored for a brighter and much rewarding future.

While urging the beneficiaries of the free JAMB forms to encourage him to do more by being the best amongst many candidates sittiing for the examination.

The youngsters who outwitted themselves in a debate session that featured those in the sciences, art and commercial classes of their choice career paths really made good their poise for academic progress before the teeming audience at the event.
