Ini Dima-Okojie opens up on pregnancy journey with multiple fibroids

Nollywood actress Ini Dima-Okojie has shared details of her pregnancy journey, revealing that she carried her baby while managing multiple fibroids.

In a video posted on Instagram, the actress reflected on the physical, emotional and mental challenges she experienced during the pregnancy, describing the journey as both difficult and rewarding.

Expressing gratitude, Dima-Okojie stated that witnessing her body change to nurture her son remains one of the most memorable experiences of her life.

“What a magical journey. My lips cannot stop saying, ‘Thank You, God!’ Looking back at these moments, I can’t help but smile. Watching my body make room for my son, and witnessing God’s hand over every step of the journey, is something I’ll treasure forever,” she wrote.

She revealed that carrying a pregnancy while living with multiple fibroids was particularly challenging, noting that there were days when the experience tested her physically, mentally and emotionally.

“It wasn’t always easy. Carrying a baby while navigating multiple fibroids is a story for another day. Some moments stretched me physically, mentally and emotionally. There were days that felt really hard,” she added.

The actress thanked God for seeing her through every stage of the pregnancy, including medical appointments, anxious moments and milestones, saying the experience strengthened her faith.

“He was faithful through every appointment, every anxious moment, every prayer and every milestone. Looking back now, all I see is His goodness. Everything truly ended in praise. Thank You, Lord, for carrying me as I carried him,” she wrote.

Dima-Okojie also prayed for women hoping to conceive or expecting children, expressing hope that they would experience similar testimonies.

“And for every woman trusting God for her own testimony, whether you’re trying to conceive, expecting, or simply holding on to His promises, I pray that your story will also end in praise. May God strengthen you, carry you, and remind you that He is with you every step of the way. In Jesus’ name, Amen,” she added.
