IPAC raises fresh alarm over plot to obstruct use of BVAs in 2023 elections
The Inter Party Advisory Council (IPAC) at a press conference in Abuja, raised fresh alarm that there are plots by some politicians to obstruct the use of Bimodal Accreditation scheme (BVAS) for accreditation of voters by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in the 2023 general elections. The Council noted that those who plot to hinder the INEC from using the BVAs are scheming to rig the elections.
IPAC in its earlier alarm on the plot to stop the use of BVAs for accreditation during elections, enjoined Nigerians to reject any plot to scuttle the transparency and credibility of the elections by any individual or party.
IPAC subsequently gave vote of confidence on the INEC led by Professor Mahmood Yakubu to conduct free, fair, credible and transparent elections in 2023.
