Keyamo celebrates ministerial nomination

The former Minister of State for Labour and Employment in the Buhari administration, Festus Keyamo SAN, on Friday celebrated his nomination for ministerial appointment by President Bola Tinubu, at the very last minute.

Keyamo, took to his official twitter handle to simply praise God, singing:

The omission of Keyamo repeatedly made news after the President submitted the first and second ministerial lists comprising of 28 and 19 nominees, respectively, without the inclusion of the former ministers name.

At the last minute of the Senate’s  screening for confirmation of the second batch of ministerial nominees transmitted by President Tinubu, the President dropped a female nominee from Kano State, Maryam Shetty, and substituted her with Dr. Mairiga Mahmud, then, further nominated Keyamo for ministerial appointment.
