Lampard believes Hudson-Odoi deal is close
Frank Lampard believes that Callum Hudson-Odoi is close to penning a new deal at Chelsea. The England international is currently out injured, and has been the subject of frequent speculation about a move to Bayern Munich, but the new boss at Stamford Bridge says progress has been made toward a long-term contract.
“The one thing that’s clear to me is I want to keep him here,” Lampard said.
In other news, Hart may replace Casillas. Former England ‘keeper Joe Hart could be in line to replace Iker Casillas at Porto, according to The Sun.
The 38-year-old Casillas has returned to training in Portugal after suffering a heart attack last season, but may still retire this year. If he does the Liga Nos club will look to Hart who has fallen behind Tom Heaton and Nick Pope at Burnley, and is free to leave.
