LASG remain committed to securing youth’s welfare

The Ministry of Youth and Social Development on Friday commence the celebration of international youth day, reiterating the importance of youths in ensuring the delivery of good governance.
(Pharm.)Mrs. Uzamat Akinbile, Commissioner Ministry of Youth and Sport Development made this salient point at her office this morning while receiving the voluntary brigade corpse who paid solidarity visit to the ministry, in the spirit of the day.
Akinbile noted that a well groomed youth will bring about a virile nation, stating unequivocally the passionate mien of the state government, led by Governor Akinwunmi Ambode mirrored by various economic empowerment scheme, targeted at the youths.
“The youths should key into all available scheme afforded to better their lot b by the present administration”.
It will be recalled that every 12th day of August is celebrated internationally as youth day.
