Lawless bus driver, conductor, hoodlums set LASTMA official ablaze
A lawless bus driver, conductor and hoodlums on set a LASTMA official ablaze on Tuesday when apprehended for driving against traffic in Lagos.
The official was, however, rushed to the hospital urgently for medical treatment.

“LASTMA Personnel Brutally Attacked While Discharging Their Duty
“On Tuesday, November 5, 2024, at approximately 9:55am, a Volkswagen T4 commercial driver known for frequently driving against traffic was apprehended by a LASTMA Patrol Team.

LASTMA official brutalised
“The driver was stopped after being observed picking up and dropping off passengers at an unauthorized spot along the expressway near Ilasa, heading towards Mile2.
“During the incident, the driver and conductor, with the aid of nearby hoodlums, descended into a frenzy, pouring petrol on a LASTMA personnel and setting him ablaze.
“Consequently, the injured officer was promptly rushed to the hospital for urgent medical attention.”
