Leadership comes with challenges – Ortom tells Alia in birthday message
The former Governor of Benue State, Samuel Ortom, extended warm wishes to his successor, Governor Hyacinth Alia, on his 58th birthday anniversary, expressing confidence in his leadership abilities.
In a statement released by his Media Aide, Terver Akase, Ortom said “Leadership comes with its numerous challenges, but I have no doubt that with God’s grace and guidance.”
The due has been a political rival.
Governor Alia earlier this year inaugurated two commissions of inquiry to probe the financial dealings during the eight-year tenure of his predecessor, Ortom.

Meanwhile, in the birthday message, Ortom prayed for God’s guidance and blessings upon Governor Alia as he continues to lead the state.
he message read, “Your Excellency, as you celebrate, I pray that God grants you wisdom, good health and strength to enable you to continue to steer the affairs of our dear state.
“Leadership comes with its numerous challenges, but I have no doubt that with God’s grace and guidance, all problems are surmountable.”
