Lewandowski: Bayern Munich is not just about me
Robert Lewandowski speaks on his current situation in Munich after the failed change in the summer. “I definitely feel very well in Munich and well”, the top scorer explains and gives himself unselfishly: “I do my best for the team to win. But it’s still about the team, because everyone works hard for success here. It’s not just me, not just Robert Lewandowski. ”
In the field, FC Bayern appear more dependent than ever on his scorer: Thomas Müller (29) is not in good shape so far, the aging wing tongs around Arjen Robben (34) and Franck Ribéry (35) need their breaks. Sandro Wagner (30) was not in the squad again in Wolfsburg.
Lewandowski comments: “I am used to always being under pressure and playing at the highest level – that’s what the club demands of me, and I also demand that of myself. I can handle it.”
