Mixed reactions trail Zack Orji, wife’s choice of presidential candidates

Some Nigerians have expressed mixed reactions over the division between veteran Nollywood actor, Zack Orji, and his wife, Ngozi, over their choice of presidential candidates.

Ngozi declared support for the Labour Party (LP) flagbearer, Peter Obi, against the decision of her husband, who is supporting the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu.

The wife of the veteran actor, had taken to her Instagram page to share a video of Peter Obi’s visit to the Revival Church Assembly, Ogba, Lagos led by Apostle Anselm Madubuko.

Sharing the photos and video, Ngozi wrote: “It was An Awesome Time Today. That Moment Our Apostle General Anselm Madubuko Introduced H E Sir Peter Obi. What an Awesome Way To Wrap up the AZUSA 20 Conference. God bless you Sir for Coming. We are OBIdient. We Move.“

In a video sighted on Twitter, Zack said his support for Tinubu is based on experience and observations, having lived in Lagos for over 40 years.

Zack Orji described the APC flagbearer, as a man who stands for justice, equity, fair play and national cohesion.

Reacting to the division between the couple, some Nigerians claimed that they are playing games to avoid losing at both ends.
