Mob beat politician on street after coup in Niger
The military junta that overthrew President Mohammed Bazoum of Niger Republic on Wednesday is fast gaining populist support. After the coup executors secured the support of the Nigerien Army, mob took to the streets to attack and beat politicians in protest of bad governance in the country.

Mob action was also extended to attach and setting in flame the party secretariat of the former President Bazoum.
In the latest mob attack in Niger, a female politician was cited in a video being publicly humiliated, beaten and thrown down on the street.
ironically, the security operatives that should be providing safety for the victims of the mob action are already engaged in the coup to change the government of the country.
Senator Shehu Sani, a renowned hun=man right advocate in Nigeria, had noted with dismay:
