Mohamed Salah focused on current season, Not future amid Liverpool contract talks
Mohamed Salah has emphasized that he is concentrating solely on the current season and not on his future beyond it, with his Liverpool contract set to expire in less than a year.
Since joining Liverpool in 2017, the Egyptian forward has scored 213 goals and cemented his legacy at the club.
Salah, along with Liverpool captain Virgil van Dijk and Trent Alexander-Arnold, is among the key players whose contracts are up at the end of the season.
Despite ongoing speculation about a potential move to the Saudi Pro League, including a rejected £150 million bid from Al-Ittihad last year, Salah remains focused on his performance this season.

In an interview with Sky Sports, Salah stated, “I’ve got one year left, let’s just enjoy it and don’t think about the contract.
The most important thing is to take one day at a time and just be grateful to be here.”
Salah, who signed a lucrative three-year deal in 2022 making him Liverpool’s highest-paid player, has continued his impressive form this season, scoring in Liverpool’s victories over Ipswich and Brentford under new manager Arne Slot.
