Nurses, Midwives join nationwide strike
The National Association of Nurses Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, and the Trade Union Congressand Midwives, NANNM, has instructed its members to participate in the national strike initiated by the , TUC,.
The NLC and TUC called for the strike, demanding a new minimum wage for Nigerian workers, which began on Monday, June 3.

Salisu Abubakar, the Public Relations Officer for NANNM at the Federal Medical Centre in Gusau, Zamfara State, confirmed the directive from the union’s national leadership.
He stated that members have been instructed to join the strike in adherence to the national order.
