Obi calls for investigation of fire outbreak at Christ Embassy Church Headquarters
The presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP) int he 2023 general elections, Peter Obi, has called for investigation of the fire incident at the Headquarters of Christ Embassy Church in Lagos.
According to Obi, “As a nation, we must come together to support those affected and rebuild what has been lost.”
Obi in a solidarity message stated, @PeterObi
“I feel deeply distressed by the fire incident that gutted the headquarters of Christ Embassy Church earlier today. Reports indicate that the devastating fire ravaged the headquarters of the Church in Oregun, Ikeja, Lagos State.
“My thoughts and prayers are first and foremost with the founder of the Church, Revered Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, the entire church membership, and the community affected by this tragic incident.
“I urge the authorities to investigate the cause of the fire immediately and take the necessary steps to prevent such incidents in the future.
“As a nation, we must come together to support those affected and rebuild what has been lost.
“We must all stand united in the face of adversity and work towards a safer and more compassionate society for all knowing that God is always with us even in our storms. -PO”
