Ortom dares APC to rig FCT Council elections
Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State has dared the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) to rig the council elections in the Federal Capital Territory on Saturday. The Benue Governor declared that he would resist any form of rigging or manipulation of the FTC Council elections by the APC on Saturday.
Governor Ortom, chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) campaign council for the FCT election, at a meeting of critical stakeholders of the PDP at the Benue Governor’s Lodge in Abuja, to finalize preparations for the Saturday elections, said the ruling APC has made the job of the PDP simple because of the abysmal performance and failures of the APC, noting that no rational citizens will want to continue to live with such monumental failure and frustration of the ruling party.
Participants at the meeting include the host, Benue governor and governors of Oyo, Bauchi and Rivers states, including Senators, former Governor’s, former Senators and several other party leaders.
