Osagie Ize-Iyamu qualified to contest for our Party Ticket” – APC National Working Committee
The National Working Committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has, on Thursday, February 8, 2024, ruled that the 2020 governorship candidate of the party, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu, is qualified to contest for the party’s 2024 ticket.

This decision by the national body of the party empowered by law to screen aspirants, therefore, nullifies Prof Ihonvbere’s Committee that attempted to unlawfully screen out some aspirants, which was not acceptable to majority of the aspirants because it was done in bad faith, aimed at disqualifying the more popular aspirants like Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu, Prof Oserheimen Osunbor, and Mr Clem Agba, leading many party faithfuls to insinuate that perhaps Adams Oshiomhole, who teleguided the process, was probably working for the outgoing governor of Edo State to present very weak opponent in 2024 in exchange for personal favour.
