Osun Assembly commences screening of commissioner nominees
The Osun State House of Assembly has commenced the screening of nominees for commissioners and special advisers sent to the House by Governor Ademola Adeleke.
The Speaker of the House, Adewale Egbedun, had at plenary last week read the governor’s letter containing 25 names of nominees for appointment into the state cabinet.
The nominees undergoing the screening process include Oladosu Babatunde, Bayo Ogungbangbe, Sesan Ephraim Oyedele, Kolapo Alimi, Soji Ajeigbe, Moshood O. Olagunju, George Alabi, Sunday Olufemi Oroniyi, Abiodun Bankole Ọjọ, Basiru Tokunbo Salami, Morufu Ayofe, Ṣọlá Ogungbile, Bunmi Jenyo, among others.
The deputy speaker had stated: “I welcome you all to the commencement of the screening of the Osun State commissioner nominees sent by H.E. Sen. Ademola Nurudeen Adeleke.
“I urge all the commissioner designates to follow the procedures and process of the ad hoc screening committee to achieve the best for our state and the people.
“I commend you all for your timely arrival at the House of Assembly complex. This shows that you are ready to contribute your quotas to the development of Osun state.”
