Osun FA inaugurates Electoral, Appeal Committees
Chairman State of Osun Football Association, Chief Taiwo Ogunjobi, on Monday January 14, inaugurated Electoral and Appeal Committees to devise strategies ahead of the state FA elective congress.
Ogunjobi alongside his board members sworn-in the committees at the Oshogbo Township Stadium.
The Electoral Committee is composed of Barrister Taiwo Awokunle (Chairman), Peter Adeddiji (vice-chairman), Nurudeen Olapade, Prince Yemi Adegoke, Honourable Toki Fatai Kolapo, Sonaike Abiodun, and Honourable Kareem Akadi will all serve as members. The secretary is Amoo Abayomi, who is the state FA scribe.
Substitute members are Adeleke Abdulrasheed and Akeem Adebayo
The Appeal Committee is made of Barrister Praise Ofoyeju, Mrs. Ronke Ogunbawo, Bashir Olaposi, and Tunde Adebiyi shall act as secretary to the Committee.
Ogunjobi, charged the committees to deliver a transparent, credible and fair polls.
“I am convinced that the persons in the Electoral Committee are poised to do a great job, going by their pedigree and personal accomplishments in the game of football.”
Barriester Awokunle, while responding said his led committee will deliver a credible and transparent all-through the process of the elections.
He stated further that the Electoral Committee will fix date for the collection of forms into elective positions on Tuesday January 15, 2019.
However, form for the post of the chairman attract #100,000, while #75,000 is for the post of vice chairman while other members are to pay #50,000 for their forms.
