Oyeyemi, Elegushi, others for Motoring Journalists Workshop
The Corp Marshal of the Federal Road Safety Commission, Boboye Oyeyemi, Commissioner of transportation in Lagos State, Anofiu Olarewaju Elegushi and several other key decision makers in Nigeria’s automotive industry are expected at this year’s Nigeria Auto Journalists Association (NAJA) Training and Capacity building workshop slated for June 8-9 at Nero Hotel & Conference Centre, Ajah, Lagos.
At the event, the Corp Marshal, Boboye Oyeyemi, will be taking a look at “Decade of Action on Road Safety; The gains, The Pains. Also expected at the epoch event is the Vice Chancellor of Caleb University, Professor Deji Aina, who will be taking the topic: The Political Economy of Nigeria Automotive Industry Crises: Outside Perspective.
The annual programme with Ford Motor Corporation as lead sponsor, is aimed at updating the motoring journalists drawn from the print, electronic and online media with the basic knowledge and practical details and recent developments within the local and global automotive industry.

According to Frank Kintum, National chairman of NAJA, the annual workshop is an avenue to continuously update the knowledge base of journalists covering the automotive sector in Nigeria.
Speaking on the upcoming event, Mike Ochonma, National Vice Chairman of Nigeria Auto Journalists Association and also Head of Organising Committee said the event would not have come at a better time than now when the country’s automotive industry is at cross roads.
