PDP State chairman dies in Zamfara
The State Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Zamfara State, Dr. Sani Ahmad, on Wednesday died in Gusau after a brief illness. The Deputy State Chairman of the party, Alhaji Mukhtar Lugga, saidin Gusau that the chairman died in Gusau after a sudden undisclosed illness.
The Deputy State Chairman emphasized that the late State Chairman was hale and hearty, but suddenly took ill and died after a consultative meeting with the state Council of Ulama on Wednesday in Gusau.
He said that doctors at the Al-Hilal Hospital in Gusau confirmed the chairman dead when he was taken for urgent medical attention.
Sani died at 62 years and had two wives and six children.
