Police arraign 3 for stealing vehicle parts
The police, on Tuesday, arraigned 3 before an Ikeja Magistrate Court, Lagos, for allegedly stealing vehicle parts from two cars.
The suspects were identified as Emmanuel Kwaktip, Nyawsu Esu and Oladepo temitiope.
The defendants, however, pleaded not guilty.
The prosecutor, Insp John Iberedem, told the court that the defendants committed the crime of stealing vehicle parts on Oct. 12.

Iberedem said that they were arrested by the security guards who took them to Ogba Police Division.
He said that the trio stole parts of a Toyota Prado worth N5.5 million and parts of a Toyota Hilux valued at five million Naira.
Ibered said that the Toyota Prado belonged to one Mr Yomi Otubela while the Toyota Hilux was property of one Mr Olatunbosun Olaniyan.
The Magistrate, Mrs Ejiro Kubeinje, granted the defendants bail in the sum of N400,000 with two sureties each.
She adjourned the case of stealing vehicle parts to Nov. 19 for hearing.
