Police commence screening of applicants for recruitment in Edo on Monday
The Edo State Police Command will commence screening of applicants for the recruitment into the Constable cadre of the Nigerian Police Force on Monday.
The Police Public Relations Officer of the Command, SP Chidi Nwabuzor, in a statement invited those “who applied for the ongoing recruitment into the Constable cadre in the Nigeria Police Force to report to Police Training School Ogida, Benin City, Edo State, from Monday, 8th to 29th January 2024… for Physical/Credential Screening Exercise.

According to the PPRO, the applicants are to report for the exercise with the following documents:
i. Evidence of Physical/Mental Fitness from a government-recognized medical hospital.
ii. Evidence of good character from each village/district head of applicants.
iii. Original and duplicate copies of the certificate of origin duly signed by the Local Government Chairman or…
iv. Original and duplicate copies of the National Identity Card/Slip.
v. Original and duplicate copies/declaration of age.
vi. Printout of the application form.
vii. Duly completed Guarantor’s form.
viii. Invitation Slips.
The PPRO added that the shortlisted candidates are also required to come along with recent
i Passport photographs,
ii Two white flat files, and
iii All applicants to appear at the screening centre in clean white T-shirts and shorts (knickers).

● RECRUITMENT INTO THE NIGERIA POLICE FORCE (PHYSICAL/CREDENTIAL SCREENING EXERCISE)
This is to inform the general public, especially, Edo State indigenes who applied for the ongoing recruitment into the Constable cadre in the Nigeria Police Force to report to Police Training School Ogida, Benin City, Edo State from Monday, 8th to 29th January 2024, with the following documents for Physical/Credential Screening Exercise:
i. Evidence of Physical/Mental Fitness from a government-recognized medical hospital.

iii. Original and duplicate copies of the certificate of origin duly signed by the Local Government Chairman or…

vi. Printout of the application form.
vii. Duly completed Guarantor’s form.
viii. Invitation Slips.
The shortlisted candidates are also required to come along with recent
i Passport photographs,

iii All applicants to appear at the screening centre in clean white T-shirts and shorts (knickers).
Candidates are advised to arrive at the screening venue at 0800HRS daily on the date indicated on their invitation slips.
CP Funsho Adegboye, the Commissioner of Police, Edo State Command, wishes all the shortlisted applicants a successful screening exercise.
He further assures the general public that the statutory entry requirements into the force, as clearly stated in the Police Acts and Regulations, will be followed accordingly.
The CP states that the exercise is absolutely free and urges the shortlisted applicants to conduct themselves in an orderly manner to avoid acts capable of undermining the exercise, that anything contrary to this will attract arrest and prosecution.
