Presidency 2023: I gave my life, made sacrifices indelible in history of Military – Al-Mustapha
The presidential candidate of the Action Alliance (AA) in the 2023 general elections, Major Hamza Al-Mustapha, at the weekend recounted his service in the Nigerian Army, saying that he gave his life and made sacrifices that are indelible in the history of the Nigerian military. Al-Mustapha stated that he never lobbied for any posting in the military, saying that destiny took him to wherever he was posted. He maintained that wherever he served he always made a difference.
The Action Alliance presidential candidate declared that he has no regrets working with Nigeria’s demised Head of State, General Sani Abach, as Aide-de-Camp (ADC) from 1993 to June 8, 1998 when Abacha died.
Al-Mustapha in a media interaction, decaled: “I have no regrets. When you join the Military, you should be open-minded to work anywhere.
“You can be in the worst part of the country or world. It is my experience.
“My personal destiny took me to where I served. Wherever I serve, you will see the distinct difference.
“I have done so all my life and career.
“I never canvassed to be posted anywhere. They knew what they saw in me and posted me to everywhere they took me. And I gave my life and made sacrifices that are indelible in the history of the Military.”
Meanwhile, Al-Mustapha is contesting to be president in Nigeria’s democracy in 2023.
