Real Madrid and Kylian Mbappe’s battle finally over
The battle between Real Madrid and Kylian Mbappe is finally over as the forward is set to leave Paris Saint-Germain in the summer. It has been reported that the 25-year-old will join Real Madrid on a free transfer.
The Frenchman has previously rejected a move to Madrid in 2022 – a decision which did not go down well with the Spanish club’s president Florentino Perez.
It is however believed that Madrid have maintained their interest in Mbappe and Le Parisien reports that the France international has decided to make the move to La Liga at the end of the season.

Meanwhile, ESPN report that Mbappe is set to announce his decision to leave PSG next week and has rejected the offer of a new deal from the French champions
The report adds that by leaving PSG on a free transfer, Mbappe will be forfeiting bonus payments worth €100 million (£85.5m).
It’s understood that PSG are targeting AC Milan forward Rafael Leao as Mbappe’s replacement this summer.
Mbappe, meanwhile, was frozen out of the first-team squad at the start of the season due to his contract dispute with PSG’s hierarchy.
The forward was not included on the club’s pre-season tour of Japan and was forced to train separately from the first-team squad.
Mbappe has also shown signs of frustration on the pitch this season as he displayed his unhappiness with PSG settling for a draw in their final group game against Borussia Dortmund in December.
