Remains of High Chief Raymond Dokpesi arrives Agenebode, Edo State, for interment

The remains of late High Chief Raymond Dokpesi, founder of DAAR Communications Plc, arrived Agenebode, Etsako East Local Government Area, Edo State, for interment. The motorcade was received by a large crowd of family members, friends, well wishers and indigenes, who receive body, ‘escorted’ the remains to the home.
National Daily gathered that the crowd encompasses a motorcade, different dance groups, masquerades, amidst heavy security, who escorted the corpse of the late founder of Daar Communications into his hometown. Another set of crowd was said to have gathered at the market square, awaiting the arrival of the corpse, as they mourn, expressing sorrow and weeping.

The pall bearers were said to have taken Dokpesi to his private residence bearers in a colourful procession, while the community members watched with sadness and admiration.
Other ceremonies followed, thereafter.
Dokpesi was the pioneer founder of independent television and radio, African Independent television (AIT), and Raypower 100.5 FM , in Nigeria.
