Shehu Sani commends BUA for N3,500 reduction of cement price
Senator Shehu Sani has commended BUA Cement Plc for the reduction of the price of cement to N3,500 per bag effect from October 4, 2023.

Shehu Sani noted that the price reduction was effected by BUA Cement management in spite of the rise in the exchange rate of Naira to a dollar.
Sani noted that this “is commendable and unprecedented,” urging food stuff vendors to emulate BUA Cement in price reduction.

“Despite the rise of the dollar,Bua crashed the price of its cement;

“That is commendable and unprecedented.
“We hope it’s not promo.
“I call on our foodstuffs vendors to emulate BUA.”
BUA Cement had on October 1, announced the reduction of the price of cement in Nigeria to N3,500 per bag, promising to implement further price reduction on the completion of its production plant; targeting production output of 17 million metric tonnes per annum.
