Sufredo Heritage drags staffers to court for stealing 223 cartons of Dano milk

A staff of Sufredo Heritage, Lagos identified as Apena Olabisi Olasunkanmi, 40, has been dragged to court for stealing 223 cartons of Dano milk valued N1,115,000.
National Daily gathered that on December 2 last year, the management asked the accused to convey the product to Kano, but instead, he conspired with some people at Free Trade Zone, Ibeju Lekki, Lagos to divert the product.
It was further gathered that as soon as he perfected the illicit act, he absconded until he was arrested recently.
In a two-count charge preferred against the accused at the Magistrate Court 3, Tinubu Square, “Apena Olabisi Olasunkanmi and others were said to be at large between 12 December, 2016 at Lekki Free Trade Zone, Lagos, and you conspired amongst yourselves to commit felony to wit: stealing and thereby committed an offence punishable under section 409 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State of Nigeria, 2011
“That you, Apena Olabisi Olasunkanmi “m” on the same date, time and place in the aforementioned Magisterial District did steal two hundred and twenty three cartons of Dano milk valued the sum of one million one hundred and fifteen thousand naira (N1,115,000) property of Sufedo Heritage and thereby committed an offence punishable under section 285(9) of the criminal Law of Lagos State of Nigeria, 2011.
However, Magistrate L.O Kazeem granted him bail in the sum of N200,000 with two surety who must show LASRA registration certificate and evidence of tax payment for three years.
Further hearing on the case continues on the 19 June, 2017.
