Three Deeper Life Church members kidnapped in Ondo State
I can confirm to you that there is an issue of kidnapping but I can not confirm the number of the victims for now
Three members of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry in Akure North Local Government Area of Ondo State were reportedly kidnapped on Monday evening, sparking fear and concern within the community.
According to a message circulated on the church’s WhatsApp platform, the victims were abducted while returning from a Bible study session at the Kasemola Area within the Ogbese axis of the council.
“Good morning, beloved. Kindly pray along with us. Three of our members were kidnapped yesterday after Bible study at Kasemola inside the Ogbese axis. We are seeking divine intervention to secure the release of our kidnapped members. The case has been reported to the police and Amotekun Corps in the state,” the message read.”
DSP Olushola Ayanlade, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) for the Ondo State Command, confirmed the incident to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Tuesday in Akure.

Ayanlade stated that men of the command were already tracking the kidnappers in the bushes and are collaborating with the community to secure the victims’ rescue.
“I can confirm to you that there is an issue of kidnapping but I can not confirm the number of the victims for now,” the PPRO said.”
This incident adds to a series of kidnapping cases that have been reported in Ondo State recently, raising concerns about the security situation in the region.
