Tinubu hosts Jonathan at State House, holds deliberation on EWCOWAS, A.U matters
President Bola Tinubu had hosted former President Goodluck Jonathan on official at the State House, Abuja, on Tuesday. Jonathan has become the first former President to visit Tinubu at the State House after his inauguration on May 29.
Former President Jonathan, Head of the ECOWAS Mediation Team to Mali, had disclosed both leaders held deliberation on issues relating to Africa and the West Africa sub region.
The former President was cited to have stated: “I came to brief the President about some continental and subcontinental bodies.
“I am the ECOWAS mediator for Mali and I’m the chair of the West African Elders Forum.
“So, there are certain issues bordering on the continent and the sub region that I discuss with various presidents.”
