Governor Buni was said to have appealed to president Buhari to forgive all his shortcomings and allow conduct the national convention.
Meanwhile, APC governors are divided over the CECPC leadership, as Governor Buni battles to resume office on return from Dubai. Governor Bello has sidelined most members of the CECPC in the administration of the APC.
President Buhari was said not to be aware of the intrinsic politicking in the APC CECPC leadership.

The turmoil in APC is escalating with every turning event in the party.
