Veteran actor dies after protracted illness
Legendary actor who became famous for acting as Natty in ‘New Masquerade’ Romanus Amuta has died at the ripe age of 79 after a protracted illness on Wednesday.
Natty began his media practice working at Daily Times Newspaper after which he delved into acting. He was born in Ukana in Udi LGA of Enugu State.
He came into the limelight after featuring in the ‘New Masquerade’ — which was one of the most popular TV series in the 80s.
Amuta is survived by Cordelia, his wife, and six children.
