Wenger responds to Mourinho ‘Break His Face’ comment
Arsene Wenger has laughed off suggestions that Jose Mourinho will find him outside of Football and ‘Break his face’
These comments were attributed to the Portuguese by a journalist, Rob Beasley, in his upcoming book about Mourinho.
Beasley had alleged that Mourinho despises Wenger and after comments the Frenchman made about the sale of Juan Mata to Manchester United, Mourinho had reportedly said; “When Mr Wenger criticises Chelsea and Man United over the deal with Mata… I will find him one day outside a football pitch and I will break his face.”
When asked about it in his press conference, Arsene Wenger tried to hold in his laughter and said; “I haven’t read the book and certainly will not read it.
“I cannot comment on that. I talk about football and that’s all I do. I’m not in a destructive mode, ever. I’m more constructive. I can’t comment on that. I talk about tomorrow’s game.
“Look I do not want to especially comment. I have no personal problem with anybody, I respect everybody in our game.”
When pressed about the story, this time Arsene did laugh stating; “What is amazing is that this has nothing to do with our game tomorrow. I personally am just focused on doing well my job.
“I will maybe make a book one day, but I’m not ready for that today.”
