Whalar Group, a company that connects social media influencers with sponsorship opportunities, has successfully raised capital from a group of investors, achieving a valuation of $400 million.
According to a statement released by the New York-based Whalar on Thursday, the investment round included Salesforce Inc. Chief Executive Officer Marc Benioff as a key participant.

Other notable investors in this funding round include Neal H. Moritz, the producer behind the popular “The Fast and the Furious” film franchise, and the e-commerce giant Shopify Inc.
