Why APC leaders endorsed Hon. Adeyemo for Oyo Central Senatorial Chairman – Akande-Sadipe

As the State Congress of the All Progressive Congress (APC) holds this Saturday in Oyo State, APC leaders and stakeholders in Oluyole have endorsed Hon. Olalekan Adeyemo as consensus candidate for the Oyo Central Senatorial District Chairman, Tolulope Akande-Sadipe has revealed.Akande-Sadipe, a member of the House of Representatives, representing Oluyole Federal Constituency in the National Assembly, and Chairman, House Committee on Diaspora, said that she and other stakeholders are in support of Adeyemo’s candidacy. She said that  Adeyemo’s experience within the party hierarchy distinguished him for leadership, adding that he is a man of leadership virtues – integrity, experience, and maturity – which would be a great tool for the party to triumph in the 2023 elections.
Adeyemo is the deputy caretaker chairman of APC in Oyo State and has served as deputy State Chairman APC Oyo. His political experience and career including a tenure as a member of the Oyo State House of Assembly, before proceeding to the National Assembly.

“The decision to adopt and endorse Hon. Olalekan Adeyemo was made in an open meeting by the majority of Stakeholders in Oluyole APC with the view of selecting the best candidate for the seat”, Akande said.

another lawmaker, James Adeleke, who was also present at the meeting, stated that the selection process represented a democratic choice of a majority within the party.

All ward chairmen present at the deliberation unanimously agreed that Hon. Olalekan Adeyemo, fondly called baba Adeyemo, is the right man for the job. They noted that baba has proven himself over the years and has amassed respect as well as shown the great quality of leadership.

Idowu Oyewale maintained that Baba Adeyemo is a favorite consensus candidate amongst the party leaders in the constituents within other local governments in the senatorial district.

In attendance at the meeting were Hon Oyeniyi Oyeniran, Hon James Adeleke, Elder Alamu Osuolale, Alhaja Adebiyi, Hon Gbolagade, Chief Garuba Lawal, Pa Abidogun, Alh Mufu Ladoja, among others.
