14-Year-Old Nigeria killed in London sword attack
The teenage boy who died in the Hainault sword attack in north-east London, United Kingdom, has been identified as 14-year-old Nigerian, Daniel Anjorin.
It was gathered that Anjorin died from stab wounds shortly after he was taken to hospital on Tuesday, April 30. He was attacked on his way to school.
Four other people, including two police officers, were injured in the attack. Metropolitan Police chief Sir Mark Rowley said one of the officers nearly lost her hand while apprehending the suspect.
The injuries suffered by all four are not thought to be life-threatening, and police don’t believe it was a targeted attack or terror-related. Police were called to reports of a car crashing into a house and people being stabbed in Hainault, north-east London.
Police said the 36-year-old suspect is in hospital being treated for injuries sustained when the vehicle he was in crashed into the house. The police said the suspect would be taken in for questioning immediately after he has some respite.
