Lekki building collapse: Death toll hits six
Death toll in the collapsed building at Lekki on Tuesday morning has reached six according to the spokesperson for National Emergency Management Agency, South West zone (NEMA), Ibrahim Farinloye
The rescue operation jointly been carried out by the Lagos State Fire Service and NEMA, rescued one more victim this evening bringing the total number of rescued victims to seven.
It was learnt that a nursing mother and many others are still trapped in the building.
Farinloye disclosed that they would not relent in their efforts to rescue remaining that are still trapped in the collapsed building.
The five-storey building collapsed in the early hours of Tuesday at Lekki Phase 1, Lagos State.
