Okorocha plans to concessionaire Imo education sector

Gov. Anayo Rochas Okorocha has said that plans are in the pipeline to concessionaire all tertiary institutions in the state.
The governor said concession of the education sector would help increase internally generated revenue of the state and stabilize its economy.
He made the disclosure while addressing newsmen in government house Owerri.
He described concession policy of the tertiary institutions of the state to be lee way of fighting ghost workers and indolent civil servants who were not doing anything for the state but destroy it.
The governor insisted that concession policy had worked perfectly in health sector where all health impossibilities affecting the wisely were resolved to address the problem illness in the state.
That if such is applicable to education will help bring expected change in issues of mismanagement of the Institutions.
He blamed labour for not adhering to the directives of the Government to fight fuel subsidy and economy imbalances of the country.
He described labour as visionless group of people who are now gradually beginning to lose their ground from the public respect as a pressure group in the country.

Okorocha appealed to the public to have regard for 5 yrs giant projects executed by his administration without borrowing.
He also stated that the administration has delivered so much that all abandoned projects of the past Gov’s in the State were completed.
He recounted on 2 giant flyovers he named after Nnamdi Azikwe fly-over located at Okigwe Road, Owerri and Michael Opara flyover located at Amakohia Road Owerri, dualization of many roads within and outside the city of Owerri, decongestion of Owerri Capital City, Empowerment to youth of the state and many more.
While promised to build another Imo Cago international market for importation and exportation of goods and services, and called on his success to sustain his projects.
