2023: Ohaneze threatens to wipe out PDP
The north has made it clear the south can’t stampede the region into giving them the presidency com 2023, and the chances of leaving the party primary open are high—with consequences.
The PDP, the dominant party in the southeast, is now under threat.
Ohaneze Ndigbo youth says failure to hand the ticket on a platter of gold to the southeast means the party won’t exist in Igboland again.
IPOB, the secessionist group seeking Biafra, has already said there will be no election in 2023.
“With the quest of Fulani political cabal to retain power in 2023, if they dare it, it’s an indication that Nigeria at 61 this year will be the last independent day the entity called Nigeria will celebrate,” the Ohaneze Youth Council President Igboayaka O. Igboayaka, said in a statement on Thursday.
It vowed that if PDP failed to cede their presidential ticket to an Igbo candidate, none of their offices would stand in Igboland nor its flag would be seen flying in the region.
